Life at Belews Landing
Belews Landing is a residential subdivision on the shores of Belews Lake in the southwest corner of Rockingham County in the piedmont area of North Carolina.
Located approximately 25 miles from Greensboro and Winston-Salem, it is one of very few developments on the shores of Belews Lake. In 2000, it was discovered that, unlike most of the lakeshore which is owned by Duke Energy, there was a 198-acre farm that was privately owned. After several years of negotiations, the owners agreed to sell the property and in 2004-2005 the land was purchased by Belews Landing Development Company.
Today, Belews Landing comprises four parts: Crows Nest (a gated area), Sailing Point, The Estates, and Windward. Amenities include walking trails/golf cart paths through mature hardwood trees, a lakeside cabana and a lakeside gazebo, clubhouse, and outdoor swimming pool.
